World Book Day takes place on Thursday 5^th March - a day when we can come together to celebrate all things books and encourage our learners to enjoy stories and share their love of reading with others.

On this day, we are encouraging our learners to wear their pyjamas or loungewear rather than families feeling any pressure to go out and buy new costumes, but learners can dress up as their favourite book character if they like.

We will be using the theme ‘Go All In’ so learners can bring along their favourite book from home if they have one.

As always, each learner will receive a book token to the value of £1.  Below are the books that learners will be able to get, for free, with their £1 tokens.

There will be opportunities throughout the day for learners to share their love for reading with friends, visit the school library and participate in some form of reading activity suitable to their needs.
